Week of April 6-10
Our Week:
Thank you parents for coming on our fun trip to Hacienda Hay and Feed. We saw baby goats, chicks, a calf, rabbits, a potbelly pig named Oreo, and many more animals. The students had fun investigating habitats, petting chicks, and classifying animals.
Please help us be preventative as we keep our class clean and students healthy. Pull back long hair, wash jackets and P.E./Dance clothing weekly, and keep children home if they have had a fever or vomited within the past 24 hours. We are also going to give stuffies and blankets a vacation at home. Please leave these at home for the next few weeks.
Volunteers:
We will have opportunities on Friday mornings from 8:00-8:15 or Friday 2:55-3:10, for parents to come into our classroom and read a story to the children. If you would like to come in and read, please e-mail us with your first and second choice time slots and we will organize and respond via e-mail.
If you have a special skill or art project that you would like to organize, prepare, and share with our class of 23 students, please let us know.
Summer Birthdays:
If your child is a summer birthday, and they wish to celebrate at school, please contact us with several possible dates. We will send a confirming e-mail. Schedule “C” days or another student’s actual birthday are unavailable.
Reminders:
· No Class, April 16-20
· Free Dress, April 24
· Spirit Day May 6
· Spring Dance Performance, May 15 @ 7:00 and May 16 @ 4:30
· Free Dress May 22
· May 28 Kindergarten Last Day Celebration Potluck
Thank you,
Vicki Copeland and Manon Pratt
